Sagem my850vSagem is one of the few mobile phone producers that dared in launching a new handset on the big day when the iPhone is due for launch. Probably because the Sagem my850v has nothing to do with the high performances of Apple’s phone due for release.

This 3G clamshell phone model manages to bring for its user the most common performances that he might use. No high technology, nothing
we have ever seen before in other cell phone models.

Sagem my850v comes with an especially stylish design, which makes it look as a stylish device, capable of high performances. Looks may be deceiving, as this mobile phone comes only with the most common capabilities coming from a telecommunication device.

Motorola RAZR2 Motorola launches RAZR2 first in Korea, jumping ahead of the official July release date. The designer flip-phone has all the features announced in May, including its extra-large 2-inch external LCD with touch controls, a refined interface, and the stainless steel body with aluminum hinge that toughens the phone despite being no thicker than the original RAZR.

The exact version going on sale is unavailable but is likely to be the V9, which can operate on the company’s 3G, HSDPA-based network. Motorola will offer the phone through Korean provider SK Telecom for the equivalent of $630 before carrier plan discounts are factored in. A larger release in Asia is planned in July, with North America and other regions picking up the V8, V9, and V9m versions by the end of the summer. [via]

Using non-WiFi (but “WiFi-friendly) wireless transmission technology, the speaker system links up to four remote speakers, purportedly delivering interference-free CD sound quality (48Khz). The wireless transfer method uses error correction and a unique frequency hopping scheme for a real-world indoor range of up to 150 feet (50 meters) through walls, floors and ceilings. In open outdoor environments, Eos can broadcast in excess of 300 feet (100 meters).
